Our approach follows the traditions of humanities as well as contemporary research agendas.
We consider technologies to be not just instruments, but a part of life, with their own mode of being. We aim at reflexive creating of digital and intellectual frameworks and studying relations of technologies, culture, education and science.

DH Center is an educational department and research and development organization at the ITMO University in St.Petersburg.
We provide educational programs (MA, BA, PhD), initiate digital projects and conduct research.
Our educational projects are intertwined with production, research and development of IT products in culture, science and education.
We work together with cultural institutions in St. Petersburg and beyond. Our partners include Museum of Religion, Mayakovsky Library, the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkinsky House), the Museum of Soviet Arcade Machines, and others.
Our students and colleagues also initiate their own projects and research.
